Nail Biting Tips – How can i stop biting my finger nails?

i cant stop!! ive biten my nails for ever (im 13)..i need ways to stop–(good ones not like sit on them )..please help me!!
Best Answer: spay hairspray or perfume on them then when you are just about to bite them and their in your mouth you will taste it and eerrrrrr it will taste disgustin u will never go to bite them again tell me if it works i hope i helped lol xif you want to wear nail varnish putting nail polish remover is gonna mess things up so that is a rubbish answer!
- whenever you go to bite them, think about all the E Coli that is going into your mouth, and everywhere theyve been, everything theyve touched.

it sounds dumb & simple, but it works.
- put finger nail polish remover on them so when you put them in your mouth they taste nasty or cut your nail so they are short and you wont be able to bite them
- by chewing gum
- pet fingernailpolish on them or were gloves
- paint your nails a realllly pretty color, with like designs or maybe even rhinestones stuck on them
(or if you’re not much of a nail-painter, put on clear nail polish)
that way when you bite them, you’ll ruin your pretty nails, and you’ll probably have a bad taste in your mouth - wear nailpolish and whnever ur gonna bite them think about the germs that could be going in your mouth… and infection.. my cousin got infected jus becoz of biting his nails… they had to open his hand up and everything… ewww
- go to the chemist and u could get a nail polish type thing.. you put it on ur nails and when you bite into your nails there is a disgusting taste that goes in your mouth… EWWWW
- make it your new years resolution and for every day u don’t bite ur nails give yourself a treat
- I bite my nails too, and the best thing to do is paint them with clear nail polish [or any other color for that matter]. With your nails painted, whenever you start to bite them, you will taste the nail polish, and stop biting them. If you do this for a while, eventually you will kick the habit, and you’ll be glad you did!

- when your at home-put tape around them all day..that way you cant bite. and when your at school, put a bandaid on like 2 so you wont bite them..next day the other two and so on…plus theres that nasty nail polish u could put that tastes really bad.
- Put your mind to it and just do it. What about buying that stuff that makes them taste bad? bandaids on them?
